Privacy policy
Last updated October 23, 2026
ProTally ("we") is operated by Connect-A-Pro LLC, Florida. This policy explains what we collect when you use the ProTally app and website, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code.
- Receipts: the photos you take or upload and the details read from them (store, date, amounts, items, payment method label such as "Visa 4821"). We never see full card numbers.
- Trips: miles, dates, purposes and the start and end street names of trips you choose to record. Location is used only while you have a trip running with the app open.
- Purchases: whether you have an active subscription. Apple or Google handles payment; we never see your card.
How we use it
Only to run ProTally for you: sign-in, reading receipts, calculating mileage and write-off estimates, exports you request, and support. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase stores your account, receipts, photos and trips.
- Anthropic (Claude) reads receipt photos to pull out the details. Photos are sent only for that purpose.
- RevenueCat, Apple and Google handle subscriptions.
Your choices
You can edit or delete any receipt or trip at any time. Settings → Delete my account permanently erases your account, photos and records. Email support@getprotally.com with any privacy request.
Security and retention
Your data is private to your account, encrypted in transit, and kept until you delete it or your account.
Children
ProTally is not for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll post updates here and change the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
